Mac DeMarco teases new music in the most Mac DeMarco way possible
Mac DeMarco is slowly working up fans into a minor meltdown with his latest teaser video.
Living up to his meme-loving persona, DeMarco has shared a slightly bizarre but classically Mac video clip of a cat called Pickles eating. Yep. The four-minute video is about “Pickles lives behind the garage,” DeMarco explains of the video.
Those guys over at the NME got all excited that it was a covert way of releasing DeMarco’s new material and were quickly told that the clip is “just a video of a cat, not new music” by DeMarco himself.
