M.I.A. launches new range of tin foil hats to protect against 5G with Alex Jones
Controversial pop star and M.I.A. has launched her own clothing brand, Ohmni. Her selection of clothes features a tin foil hat, which people can buy to block out 5G waves from entering the body.
Ohmni has made bold claims on its website, alleging it goes beyond what regular fashion brands can offer and gives people more security in their everyday lives with its clothing. The company describes itself as the “Last frontier at preserving your privacy, autonomy, and rights over your body and data.” It also says, “The armour of the modern knight in the age of modern technological warfare.”
They claim to offer a range of clothing that is said to block various radio waves. For instance, their “protency boxers” bizarrely state they “block electromagnetic frequencies” and also boost fertility. They are also selling a “tin foil hat” that can deflect “electromagnetic waves such as Wi-Fi & 5G with up to 99.999% shielding effectiveness.”
Their mission statement was even weirder, with the brand stating, “You might think of the war zone as far away from where you are, yet in 2024, even your house is a digital battlefield. OHMNI is designed to be protective, preventative, and precious.”
They continued, “Future backwards is R U TUF. If the conspiracy theorists are wrong, good for you, you own some beautiful clothes made with pure silver and previous metals. But, if they are right, you just might have saved the future of humanity. Welcome to OHMNI. I could be a genius, but I could be a cheat.”
M.I.A. unveiled the clothing during a recent appearance on Alex Jones’s conspiracy-based show Infowars. The ‘Paper Planes’ singer showcased items from the range, and unusually used the online programme as a launch pad for the range.
Her latest collaboration doesn’t mark the first time she has appeared on Infowars, M.I.A. previously teamed up with Jones in 2022, when she made a series of controversial remarks regarding her thoughts on the Covid-19 pandemic.
The questionable views revolve around M.I.A.’s strong stance against any kind of vaccination. She also previously compared Jones’s stance about falsehoods surrounding the Sandy Hook shootings as akin to celebrities “pushing” the Covid-19 vaccines on the public. A number of organisations severed ties with her following her claims and her invite was rescinded from GQ’s 2022 ‘Men Of The Year’ awards.
