Lucy Dacus shares two new singles, ‘Bus Back To Richmond’ and ‘More Than Friends’

Lucy Dacus has continued to build on her rich vein of musical form with the new singles, ‘Bus Back To Richmond’ and ‘More Than Friends’.

The pair of new tracks are currently available to pre-order on Vintage Bottle-colored 7” vinyl, but these are extremely limited, and only 2,000 copies will be released.

Additionally, Dacus has updated the artwork for her most recent album, Forever Is A Feeling, which now shows the Will St John painting photographed in medium format by Jon Henry, as the singer-songwriter originally intended.

In a four-star review of the album, Far Out wrote: “Every aspect of this famously indescribable feeling is described, not on a surface level, but in the details left in pockets of memory that we are given access to. We are flies on the wall for years of Dacus’ life, drinking, getting high, doing crosswords, and gaining glimpses into something so great that it highlights how time without it is time wasted.”

She began her ongoing tour at FDR Park in Philadelphia on July 25th, and the set of dates will conclude at All Things Go Festival in Maryland on September 27th. Notable dates include the Masonic Temple Theatre in Detroit, Shaky Knees Festival in Atlanta and The Criterion in Oklahoma City.

During the tour, Dacus is making the most of her time on the road by officiating fans’ weddings. After initially suggesting the idea on social media, she followed through with the motive, and her website includes the following message from her: “I can think of all sorts of reasons people may be interested in securing the rights granted through marriage (you know what I mean?), so if you’ve had it in mind forever or are just recently making the decision, I will be honored to do the honors!”
