Lucy Dacus reveals ‘Forever is a Feeling’ tracklist and announces Hozier collaboration

Lucy Dacus has revealed the tracklist for her upcoming album Forever is a Feeling, and within it also announced a collaboration with Hozier on the song ‘Bullseye’.

The American singer, famed for her last three albums as well as being a third of indie supergroup Boygenius, will release Forever is a Feeling on March 28th. Ahead of this, she posted a series of sketches on Instagram on March 10th to unveil the tracklist in full.

Alongside the already released singles ‘Limerence’, ‘Ankles’, and ‘Best Guess’, Dacus revealed the song names and drawings, created by LA artist Nicole Jaclyn Smith, for all the 13 tracks on the album. The opener, ‘Calliope Prelude’, depicts a cello, and ‘Big Deal’ is represented by a white dove with a flower in its mouth.

In the post, the latest single to be released from Forever is a Feeling was teased, with Dacus explaining that ‘Talk’ – depicted by a drawing of a bloodied scythe – would come out on March 12th.

Dacus announced Forever is a Feeling back in January, noting at the time that the record laments a turbulent period of, “Falling in love, falling out of love,” and openly stating, “I got kicked in the head with emotions.”

She also delved into the meaning behind the album’s title, saying: “You can’t actually capture forever. But I think we feel forever in moments. I don’t know how much time I’ve spent in forever, but I know I’ve visited.”

Forever is a Feeling comes off the back of Dacus’ previous albums,2016’s No Burdon, 2018’s Historian, and 2021’s Home Video, as well as her chart-topping 2023 LP with Boygenius effort, The Record.
