Listen: St Vincent remixes Cardi B and Maroon 5’s ‘Girls Like You’
Following on from Annie Clark’s brilliant remix of her own St Vincent track ‘Slow Disco’, appropriately giving the MASSEDUCTION album track an upbeat disco slant and re-titling it ‘Slow Fast Disco’ – she’s had another go at re-working a hit. This time though it is Cardi B and Maroon 5 who get the St. V treatment.
She has released a remix more pop-focused, using Maroon 5 and Cardi B for a remix of their recent globe-trotting track ‘Girls Like You’.

Annie has added her usual St. Vincent flair ad given the track a disco-tinged, electro twitching remix that turns the ballad into a straight banger.
Taking to Instagram the artist said: “Had the best time making this Maroon 5/Cardi B remix. Thanks to them for having me. Lots of Dilla samples making the beat and lots of dancing alone in my studio. Mixed by my girl Laura Sisk.”
