Lindsay Lohan to voice Maggie Simpson in ‘The Simpsons’

Lindsay Lohan has been confirmed to voice Maggie Simpson in The Simpsons, which she has called a “dream come true”.

The Freaky Friday star will play Future Maggie in the upcoming episode of The Simpsons ‘Parahormonal Activity’.

The episode airs on December 14th, 2025, on Fox in the United States, and is expected to be released in the UK alongside the rest of Season 37 on Disney+ on January 14th, 2026.

Lohan took to social media to share the news, writing on Instagram: “Catch me on #TheSimpsons this Sunday on FOX! What a dream come true to be part of this iconic family,” alongside a clip where she voices a more grown-up version of Maggie.

The time travel episodes are often fan favourites, from ‘Lisa’s Wedding’ in season six to the more recent ‘When Nelson Met Lisa’ in season 34.

In the teaser, posted on Instagram and X, Maggie is about to speak up when Marge states: “Maggie, Maggie, rest your voice! You’re still getting over that laryngitis!”

Viewers also hear Lohan as Maggie say: “Please don’t let Bart drive…It’s too scary! He drives so wiggly, and everybody honks at us and yells bad words and shows us fingers!”

Known for not speaking, Maggie has had a surprising number of voices over the year, and Lohan will have some big shoes to fill, joining the roster of previous Maggies such as Jodie Foster, Viola Davis and Elisabeth Taylor.

The Simpsons will be celebrating its 36th anniversary in a couple of days and is preparing for its milestone 800th episode, which is expected to be released in February, plus we are looking forward to the new movie, which will be released in summer 2027.
