Liam Gallagher has taken the opportunity in this lovely festive time to wish former Smiths frontman Morrissey a “miserable Christmas”.
Gallagher, often thoughtful on social media, took to Twitter late on December 25 to tweet a message to his fellow Mancunian: “Miserable Xmas to morrisey as you were LG x”, he said.
It comes after Morrissey’s repeated outburst and ill-advised comments on sexual misconduct, seemingly defending Kevin Spacey and Harvey Weinstein who have been the subject of repeated rape and sexual assault claims.

Gallagher then continued to quote a series of Smiths lyrics…
The devil will find work for idle hands to do

But I'm still fond of you as you were LG x
