Liam Gallagher, eh?
As both Gallagher brothers ramp up new solo releases, Liam continues his no-holds-barred approach to the never ending questions surrounding the split of Oasis.
In a new interview with Big Issue, Liam was asked about how it feels to know that his brother Noel waits until he has left his mother’s house before visiting at Christmas: “Yeah, it’s a bit sad,” Liam said. “But that’s life ain’t it? I don’t need to feel guilty about anything.”
Moving quickly on, Liam delved deeper into the understanding of why Oasis split and insisted that it was not his fault: “I have nothing to apologise for when it comes to Oasis ending,” Liam added. “That was not my doing. That was all Noel. I just got dealt those cards so I moved on. Yeah, I miss the band. I miss having the lads about.”
Then, in particular Liam fashion, he added: “The only regret I have is that our kid [Noel] became a dickhead. I regret his head got turned and he brought The Sun into our dressing rooms. Other than that, I don’t regret one bit. People know we meant it and we didn’t kiss arse to get where we got. It’s all been amazing.”
