Liam Gallagher has got into festive spirits by releasing his very first Christmas single, ‘All You’re Dreaming Of’.
This is the first bit of new music from the former Oasis man following the release of his chart-topping sophomore record Why Me? Why Not? in 2019. All proceeds from the track will generously be going towards Action For Children – a charity who will be using the money raised by Gallagher to help those children who need it most over the festivities. The track is warm and full of heart with Gallagher singing on the chorus, “Oh what, are you dreaming of? Is it the kind of lovе that’ll be there when the world is at its worst?”
“‘All You’re Dreaming Of’ is an instant classic that is perfect for this time of year,” Gallagher said with all the confidence in the world about the track. “Considering the year that we’ve all had, I hope this brings back some much needed love and hope. Bing Crosby would have been proud,” Gallagher added.
Liam also recently announced plans so that fans will finally get to see him perform live once more, although it will be in a virtual arena. The former Oasis man has announced a virtual gig with a twist as his stage will be on a barge travelling along the River Thames. The show is appropriately titled Down By The River Thames and the event will be airing exclusively on MelodyVR on December 5th.
Gallagher announced the news in his trademark style, “To all my brothers and sisters around the world. I’m performing a one-off celestial live performance for you to stream, ‘Down By The River Thames’, on 5th December 2020,” he said.
“I’ll be performing tracks from my two number 1 solo albums as well as some stone cold Oasis classics, some of which you haven’t heard me sing for a long, long time. C’mon you know.”
