Leon Bridges has announced a North American tour behind his upcoming second album Good Thing. Bridges will head out on the road in June and be joined on the dates by the likes of Jon Batiste, Masego, and Khruangbin.
The tour is set to finish with two huge dates at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall. Check out the full list of dates below.
Early this week Bridges’ shared the details of his new album Good Thing, which will be released into the world on 4th May via Columbia.
Leon says of the new record: “I loved my experience with Coming Home. Good Thing however allows me to showcase more of my influences and artistry. I’m excited for the world to hear it and perform this diverse group of songs live.”
He released two new tracks last week ‘Bad Bad News’ and ‘Bet Ain’t Worth The hand’. The songs are typical of not only Bridges sound, rooted firmly in yesteryear which a touch of soul, r’n’b and heaps of class, but also of his evolution, as he continues to explore the lyrical space more fully. Listen to them below.
Having recently shared the tracks on Zane Lowe’s Beats1 Radio show, Bridges is looking set to follow up his brilliant, and hugely acclaimed, debut album Coming Home with another smokey, sultry release.
Time to bring these songs to life.
