Dance Yrself Clean: LCD Soundsystem announce new North American summer tour

LCD Soundsystem are bringing the groove to home soil. The iconic band has added new North American headline dates slated for August and September to their forthcoming tour schedule.

The new dates begin on August 7th at Vancouver’s Freedom Mobile Arch. James Murphy’s group will then head to Troutdale for two nights, Bonner for two nights, and Morrison’s iconic Red Rocks Amphitheater for two nights.

Following this, they will take a rather wayward path to the likes of Minneapolis, Pasadena, Portland, New Haven, and Asheville.

The tour will culminate with a festival appearance at Atlanta’s Shaky Knees Festival on September 20th.

The band’s diary already contained a few scribbles before this announcement, including four nights at Boston’s Roadrunner in April and Amy, and appearances in Napa and Reno.

Last year, the influential group performed several residencies, including an eight-night run at O2 Academy Brixton and a 12-night run at Knockdown Center in Queens, New York.

The new run of tour dates may be good news for fans hoping for new music, since the release of ‘X-ray Eyes’ in 2024 came with the promise of a new album.
