Las Vegas shooter may have originally targeted high-profile ‘Life is Beautiful Festival’

A crazed terrorist gunman who murdered 59 people at a country event in Las Vegas may have originally targeted the high-profile ‘Life is Beautiful Festival’, according to the Daily Beast.

The domestic terrorist, who has been identified as a 64-year-old white man Stephen Paddock, opened fire from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel toward  Route 91 Harvest Festival, killing 59 and injuring over 500 more.

It has also been revealed that Paddock set up surveillance cameras outside the hotel room in order to detect when police closed in before turning the gun on himself.

However, police sources have reportedly told the Daily Beast that the murderer had originally rented multiple rooms overlooking the area of Vegas’ Life is Beautiful Festival which took place the weekend of September 24th. The aforementioned festival boasted a line-up of  Gorillaz, Lorde, Chance the Rapper, Muse, The xx, and more.
