Lana Del Rey says her legal fight with Radiohead is “Over”

Lana Del Rey has confirmed that a legal battle with Radiohead has been settled.

In January Far Out Magazine reported the news that Radiohead’s lawsuit against Del Rey was built on the comparisons between well-known 90s single ‘Creep’ and Del Rey’s track ‘Get Free’.

Del Rey’s track is currently credited to Lana, Kieron Menzies and Rick Nowels but Radiohead’s lawyers are not taking this one lightly: “It’s true about the lawsuit,” Del Rey said at the time the lawsuit was confirmed. “Although I know my song wasn’t inspired by Creep, Radiohead feel it was and want 100% of the publishing – I offered up to 40 over the last few months but they will only accept 100. Their lawyers have been relentless, so we will deal with it in court.”

Now, while playing her set at Lollapalooza Brazil over the weekend, Lana Del Rey told the crowd, “Now that my lawsuit’s over, I guess I can sing that song [“Get Free”] any time I want, right?”
