Lana Del Rey has provided an update from her upcoming new album Chemtrails Over the Country Club which was originally slated to be released on September 4th.
We’re now close to the release of her upcoming spoken-word project Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass which is reportedly set to be shared on September 29th but there still remains little information about Chemtrails Over the Country Club which was scheduled to be available from Friday.
However, Del Rey has now finally provided an update on the highly anticipated record which will be her first studio album since 2019 effort Norman Fucking Rockwell.
In an Instagram post from the “very contained set, Del Rey said that she’s in the process of filming a video for the title track. Del Rey said in addition that before that song is available, she will be releasing another song titled ‘Let Me Love You Like a Woman’.”
She added: “I love the record, and I love you guys, and I can’t wait to see you soon. Probably in 2030,” she playfully said in the clip. “Just kidding. See you in 2029.”
Del Rey didn’t reveal an album release date in the clip but did note that the record would be on it’s way ‘soon’ — which will agonise and delight her fans in equal measure.
