King Krule’s horrific new video for ‘Comet Face’ is essential viewing

King Krule has shared a brand new set of visuals from his song ‘Comet Face’, a track taken from his recent record Man Alive! and they aren’t for the faint-hearted.

Directed by CC Wade, the visuals are inspired by classic horror films and was written by both Wade and King Krule’s brother, Jack Marshall. You can watch them below.

The clip is horror film joy as it sees Krule stumbling around the dark meeting an odd cast and essentially doing silly horror film things liking walking off on your own into the dark.

The video works perfectly with King Krule’s style and offers up a running commentary on the song which sees Krule’s murky tone filtered for purity and his wild horror fantasies realised.

It’s not the first time Krule has shot a video in south London, for ‘Alone, Omen 3’, Krule also took to the street of the capital for a chastening experience.
