Kieran Culkin and Josh Hartnett to star on ‘Celebrity Gogglebox’
Hollywood stars Kieran Culkin and Josh Hartnett have been confirmed for Celebrity Gogglebox in the United Kingdom.
The hit UK show, which has been running on Channel 4 since 2013, features families from across the country reacting to the biggest television moments of the past week.
The celebrity version, which is always in aid of Stand Up To Cancer, has featured many big names over the years, including Liam Gallagher, Noel Gallagher, Jack Black, Olivia Campbell, and the late Ozzy Osbourne.
For the upcoming episode, set to air at 9pm on December 12th, Hartnett, who lives in the United Kingdom, will be joined by his wife, English actor Tamsin Egerton.
Meanwhile, Culkin will be sitting down to watch television with his wife, Jazz Charton.
Speaking about the show, Hartnett said: “Tamsin introduced me to Gogglebox many years ago and I’ve been a fan ever since. Having the chance to sit with her, share a few laughs and inevitably say something that embarrasses us both, all while helping raise awareness for the worthiest of charities, is the perfect way to kick off the holiday season.”
He continued, “I’m incredibly excited to be a part of it, and to support Stand Up To Cancer.”
Additionally, Egerton said of her family’s longstanding love of the series, “We first started watching Gogglebox during lockdown in 2020, I found it so comforting watching other families around the country watching TV with us.”
The St Trinian’s actor added, “It’s such a great cross-section of the UK. Ever since then, Josh and I have tried to watch it together whenever we can. I can’t wait to snuggle up on the sofa with him for such an important cause as Stand Up To Cancer.”
Channel 4 will announce two more celebrity pairings for the upcoming special episode prior to December 12th.
