Sharon Osbourne reveals Ozzy Osbourne’s heartbreaking final words
Sharon Osbourne has revealed the heartbreaking final words that Ozzy Osbourne said before his death in July.
Osbourne, who would have turned 77 last week, tragically died on July 22nd at their family home in Buckinghamshire, England.
His cause of death was later ruled to be a heart attack, but he also suffered from coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s.
The Osbournes had only recently relocated home to England to allow him to perform at Back to the Beginning, which took place at Villa Park just weeks before his death.
Now, during a new interview on Piers Morgan Uncensored, Sharon emotionally detailed Ozzy’s final moments, sharing (via The Sun), “He was up and down to the bathroom all night, and it was like 4.30 and he said, ‘Wake up’. I said, ‘I’m already bloody awake, you’ve woken me up’.”
She then revealed the final words that he uttered, adding, “And he said, ‘Kiss me’. And then he said, ‘Hug me tight’.”
Sharon also opened up about her regret about the encounter that proved to be their last, stating, “I can’t help wondering if I should have, could I have? If only I’d have told him I loved him more. If only I’d have held him tighter.”
The music manager continued, “And he went downstairs, worked out for 20 minutes and passed away.”
According to Sharon, Ozzy was eerily having dreams during the final week of his life which featured “people that he never knew”.
She elaborated, “I said, ‘Well, what kind of people?’ He goes, ‘All different people. And I just keep walking and walking, and I’m seeing all these different people every night, and I go back there and I’m looking at these people, and they’re looking at me, and nobody’s talking’. And he knew. He was ready.”
The full interview is set to air on December 10th.
