Kagoule – Gush
Up for Track of the Day today is the brilliant if not slightly bizarre latest offering from Nottingham’s Kagoule.
‘Gush’ starts of as a mellow slap-bass driven, Pixies-eque bit that really perks and packs a punch when the chorus comes round.
Kagoule’s sound has been described as similar to a ‘quieter and calmer Smashing Pumpkins’ – but they can pack quite a kick too.
With an album in the works and set for release next year, we’ll be keeping an eye on these guys.
