Nottingham’s finest, sorry every other band form Notts, Kagoule have given us another reason to fall in love with the band. On new track ‘Pharmacy’ they display their heavier side with a full-throttle and heavily loaded sound completed by throat scratching vocals.
The first material to surface following the band’s debut LP Urth ‘Pharmacy’ was created as part of Curtain Call, a project aimed at helping new bands move up the ladder and place their foot firmly on ‘the road to success’. It’s a great project but a better band.
Kagoule are still firmly one of the most exciting bands in Britain. They offer a sense of knowing chaos which is equally delighthing and juddering. ‘pharmacy’ shows this brilliantly. Hitting a heavier side of the bands catalogue as well as maintaining their likability throughout.
