Johnny Knoxville confirms new ‘Jackass’ movie will be released in 2026
Johnny Knoxville has confirmed that a new Jackass movie will arrive in 2026.
Knoxville told his followers on Instagram, “Well a wang dang and hot damn doodle, we are starting the year off with a bang. We wanted to let you know that this summer Jackass is back!!”
He also confirmed that the new Jackass film is set to be released in cinemas on June 26th, 2026.
Knoxville revealed that more information would arrive in due course surrounding the project, concluding, “More to come but wanted you to hear it from us first.”
While there is no further information regarding the movie at this stage, it has been revealed that Paramount Pictures will be handling the film’s release.
The last Jackass film, Jackass Forever, arrived in cinemas in 2022, and topped the domestic box office in the United States, earning an estimated $80 million worldwide.
In a glowing four-star review, Far Out wrote, “Without the restrictions of a pesky narrative arc or dialogue, the film is a laugh a minute, and that’s really no exaggeration. In my viewing at the IMAX, no less, the entire screening was bowled over by continuous guffaws.”
It continues, “No matter the stunt, swathes of people were snorting with genuine joy, shrieking with abject horror or pushing their friend in confirmation of the hilarity they had just witnessed. In truth, it was a welcome relief.”
At this stage, no further cast has been announced, and it is unknown who is set to join Knoxville for the adventure.
Seemingly, Bam Margera, who was removed from the last film due to substance abuse issues, can be ruled out. He said in 2025: “They have like new dudes, and what they did to me, making me go to treatment and paying for it, and then not putting me in a movie, and, you know, I had to go to court over it and I just, you couldn’t offer me enough money to want to do another Jackass with them.”
