John Fogerty announces 2026 US tour with Steve Winwood

John Fogerty has announced an extension of his tour into 2026, with Steve Winwood coming along to support him on the road.

The new run of dates will span the United States over the course of a month this September, with Fogerty bringing his Legacy Tour to new audiences as a celebration of his music and time spent in Creedence Clearwater Revival.

The new leg of the tour is set to begin on September 3rd at the Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre in Tinley Park, Illinois, and will conclude on October 2nd at WinStar World Casino & Resort – Lucas Oil Live in Thackerville, Oklahoma.

Blue-eyed soul icon Winwood will open for Fogerty at all the dates in cities including Las Vegas, Boston, and Atlantic City, with the exception of the final night of the tour in Oklahoma.

It comes as Fogerty is set to play another short string of shows over the course of the coming months, with him playing two nights at the Festival Vive Latino 2026 in Mexico on March 14th and 15th.

He is also set to play three shows in Las Vegas from March 18th to 21st, before taking a short break and returning to the stage for a smattering of performances in May and June.

In the meantime, the former Creedence Clearwater Revival founder will receive the most prestigious prize from the Songwriters Hall of Fame, as he will be honoured with the Johnny Mercer Award at a ceremony on June 11th.

When the news was announced last month, Fogerty said in a social media video: “This is just astounding to me, I’m so happy about this. After struggling my whole life to try and get my songs back from the early days, I finally did just a couple years ago.”

Tickets for Fogerty’s September and October US stint of the Legacy Tour will go on sale from March 13th at 10am local time, with various presales beginning from March 10th and 11th.
