Jane’s Addiction reunite for their first public performance in three years

Jane’s Addiction have returned to mark the end of three-year hiatus while taking part in the Lollapalooza Lolla2020 livestream.

With frontman Perry Farrell, guitarist Dave Navarro, Stephen Perkins on the drums, and bassist Chris Chaney, the band performed on a socially distanced stage to the thousands watching online.

The now-iconic rock band, who originally formed in 1985, rolled through a number of their hit songs which included live renditions of songs such as ‘I Would For You’, ‘Stop!’ and more.

The four-day streaming event was announced by the Chicago-based festival in response to the news that their usual annual physical event needed to be cancelled amid the current health crisis.

Earlier on in the day, frontman and festival founder Farrell, also reunited with Porno For Pyros for what was their first live performance in 24 years. Prior to that, his most recent project, Kind Heaven Orchestra, also performed a tribute to David Bowie by covering ‘Ziggy Stardust’.
