Jacob Elordi teases “epic” upcoming ‘Wuthering Heights’
Australian actor Jacob Elordi has discussed his upcoming role in Wuthering Heights opposite Margot Robbie.
The upcoming film, scheduled for release on February 13th, 2026, reunites Elordi with Saltburn director Emerald Fennell. His compatriot Robbie also served as an executive producer on his previous collaboration with Fennell.
In addition to starring Elordi and Robbie in the lead role, Wuthering Heights will feature Shazad Latif, Hong Chau and Alison Oliver in prominent roles.
Now, in a new interview with the Radio Times, Elordi explained of the highly-anticipated movie: “It’s an epic romance. It’s a scale of film you don’t see often any more. I’m really proud of it.”
He also said of his role as a love interest in the movie, “Love is inherent to every single human being, so it’s always going to be a common theme in cinema if you are making movies about people.”
Intriguingly, Elordi previously revealed he had planned to take a break from acting, but the opportunity to work with Ferrell again on Wuthering Heights proved too alluring to reject.
“I was really very lucky,” he said in April. “I was going to take a break for a while, and then Emerald just very simply texted me, and you can’t run from that text.”
Elordi also heaped praise upon his co-star Robbie, stating, “She’s incredible in the film, she’s a livewire. I’m so, so excited for people to see it. She’s a beautiful actor and she gave so, so much.”
In addition to Wuthering Heights, Elordi stars in the new television series, The Narrow Road to the Deep North, and is currently in the process of shooting the third season of Euphoria.
