Jacob Elordi investigated by police following incident with radio producer

Saltburn actor Jacob Elordi is being investigated by New South Wales Police after allegedly assaulting a radio producer on February 3rd.

Elordi was at a hotel in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs when the alleged incident took with Joshua Fox took place. Fox is a producer on the hit KIIS FM programme The Kyle & Jackie O Show, and for a radio segment, he asked Elordi if he could spare some bath water for Jackie O’s birthday. The question was a reference to Saltburn.

After becoming uncomfortable, Elordi asked Fox to delete the footage of the encounter, which then allegedly became physical.

During the latest episode of The Kyle & Jackie O Show on February 5th, Fox broke his silence on events, telling the hosts: “I refuse to because I feel uncomfortable right now and this is the only evidence. And then Jacob kind of just flips and he kind of pushes me against the wall and his hands are on my throat.”

Meanwhile, in a statement to Variety, the New South Wales Police said: “Officers attached to Eastern Beaches Police Area Command are investigating after a man was allegedly assaulted outside a hotel in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs.”

They continued: “Police were told about 3:30 p.m. on Saturday 3 February 2024, a 32-year-old man was allegedly assaulted by a 26-year-old man. The man did not sustain any injuries. Inquiries into the incident is continuing.”

As of yet, Elordi hasn’t commented on the investigation.

In a four-star review of Saltburn, which is now available to stream on Amazon Prime Video, Far Out wrote: “As cocaine-snorting, fashionable consumerists, they are the modern-day royalty that line painted on the walls of Saltburn. Keoghan’s Oliver is very much aware of this, too, and doggedly attempts to remain amongst the elite ala The Talented Mr. Ripley, playing a sneaky, unhinged maniac who has as much fun as possible whilst trying to dismantle the system.”
