Jack White praises Nine Inch Nails’ live show: “Very inspiring”

Jack White has heaped praise on Nine Inch Nails for the production value of their live show, calling it “very inspiring”.

The White Stripes frontman took to Instagram on September 7th to post a photo of himself and Trent Reznor backstage at the show at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. He captioned the post, “I was enthralled to attend the NIN show in Nashville yesterday with family and friends, not only for the intense and beautiful music but the best lighting that I’ve ever seen in a show. Very inspiring.”

Imploring his audience to look into the intricacies of the lighting spectacle, he added: “Folks should look closely for the copy of a copy of a copy projection work when you attend. Respect to Reznor. First Photo from L to R: HI-REZ to LO-FI,” jokingly referencing the picture of himself and the Nine Inch Nails frontman.

White attended the show in Nashville alongside his wife, Olivia Jean, and bandmate Alison Mosshart, who is also part of the American rock supergroup, The Dead Weather. The second photo in the star’s post depicted all three standing together in the crowd.

Nine Inch Nails are currently in the midst of their Peel It Back Tour, where they are hitting the road in North America, having already travelled across the UK and Europe earlier on in the summer.

They are next set to continue their string of dates at the Gas South Arena in Duluth, Georgia, on September 9th, before moving on to the Benchmark International Arena in Tampa, Florida, the following night.

White has an increasing amount in common with the band’s frontman, Reznor, at the moment, as he is set to join his peer in the top league of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame when he is inducted during a ceremony in Los Angeles, taking place on November 8th.
