Iron Maiden announce huge Knebworth show for 2026
Iron Maiden have announced plans for a huge show at Knebworth Park next summer, celebrating half a century together as a band.
The heavy metal stalwarts will be playing the iconic venue near Stevenage on July 11th alongside The Darkness, The Hu, Airbourne, and The Almighty, which they had previously teased when announcing a string of European dates for their Run For Your Life tour in 2026.
“We hope you will join us next year as we continue to celebrate five decades of Iron Maiden. It’s going to be one for the history books… in a really historic venue,” said Iron Maiden’s manager, Rod Smallwood, upon revealing the news of the Knebworth show.
Iron Maiden already visited the UK as part of their current tour earlier this summer, with a particularly seismic date at the top of the bill in London Stadium. However, Smallwood noted that the band wanted to make Knebworth something special.
He said: “We knew that we had to bring the Run For Your Lives show back to the UK again next summer as there was such a phenomenal demand for tickets this year but we wanted to do something a bit different especially as it would be hard to top the show at London Stadium!”
Branding Knebworth as “the solution”, the band will join the ranks of artists including Oasis, Queen, Led Zeppelin and The Rolling Stones, who have all taken to the stage in the heart of the iconic Hertfordshire park.
To this end, Knebworth Park will be open to fans with specific ticket packages the night before the gig, promising an evening filled with “Maiden-themed entertainment” including the likes of live music, DJs, a dive bar, and various other attractions and entertainment which are yet to be revealed.
Tickets for Iron Maiden’s show at Knebworth go on sale from September 27th at 10am.
