IDLES smash down the Brexit door on new ‘Great’ video

IDLES, the Bristol band that already have a range of blown-apart targets in their catalogue, and now have trained their sight upon the family-divider-extraordinaire Brexit. New track ‘Great’ is as good as it says and has a cracking new video to go with it.

The band have given us another hit of their forthcoming album Joy As An Act Of Resistance with this new video for the thunderously brilliant ‘Great. Joe Talbot, the lead singer of IDLES had this to offer on the track “Let us go forward with open minds and open hearts into that fuck off fire we’ve started, no blame, no hate. Just love and a blue passport.”

The wry smile continues in the new video which sees Talbot take himself around some quintessentially British spots, including but not limited to bacon sarnies. The track comes before the album drops at the end of the month via Partisan Records and will surely propel the band to the front of the public punk’s mind.

With a tour which will see the band travelling for the remainder of the year, 2018 could surely be IDLES for the taking. For now, take in the brilliant new video below.
