Holding Absence unveil US tour with emo titans Arm’s Length

Welsh trio Holding Absence have announced an epic run of US tour dates in collaboration with Canadian emo outfit Arm’s Length, coming your way later this year.

The two-month trek will kick off in Louisville on September 18th at Louder Than Life festival, with the tour dates beginning in earnest at St Louis just a day later.

Throughout September, the bands will visit Chicago, Grand Rapids, Minneapolis, Lawrence, Ft. Collins, Colorado Springs, Las Vegas, and Pomona.

Right back into the swing of things on October 1st, they will travel to Sacramento, Los Angeles, Albuquerque, San Antonio, Houston, Jacksonville, Greensboro, Allentown, New York City, Worcester, Pittsburgh, and a final show in Nashville on October 17th.

Last October, Holding Absence hit the headlines after speaking out against an AI-band modelled on their group, which surpassed their listenership on Spotify.

At the time, frontman Lucas Woodland wrote online, “It’s shocking, it’s disheartening, it’s insulting – most importantly – it’s a wake up call. Oppose AI music, or bands like us stop existing.”

He advised fans to “Violently support real music. Buy merch. Attend shows. That’s the most we can do for now.” Fans now have the chance to follow Woodland’s warning message.
