Hardcore heavyweights Cancer Bats announce UK tour
Canadian hardcore band Cancer Bats have announced a UK headlining tour, set to kick off this October.
The forthcoming tour, announced on their social media channels, is in support of their forthcoming new album, Give Me Dirt, set for release on August 7th via Bat Skull/Marshall Records.
Looking ahead to the month on the road, the metal band shared with fans, “We are beyond excited to announce this Marshall Made Of Loud Tour! Playing all our favourite independent venues across the UK, and we end it all with a Halloween show in London! This is going to be an insane tour!”
The tour, which will see support from bands Ignite and Knives, will kick off at The Booking Hall in Dover on October 12th.
From there, Cancer Bats will hit venues in Brighton, Exeter, Falmouth, Southampton, Plymouth, Bristol, Cardiff, Milton Keynes, and Birmingham.
On October 25th, the band will play at Manchester’s Gorilla, before shows in Newcastle, Glasgow, Leeds, and Nottingham will lead them to a final night at London’s Electric Brixton on October 31st.
The ‘Hail Destroyer’ musicians have bounced back after an unfortunate incident last April, which saw them turn to the general public for help after their gear and merchandise were robbed following a show in Indianapolis.
At the time, they wrote on their GoFundMe page, “Getting robbed sucks. And asking for money kinda sucks too when there’s so many people out there in way worse situations than we are, but we’re in a bit of a pickle and want to keep on rocking and rolling!!”
