As the Haim sisters prepare to release their eagerly-anticipated new album Women in Music Pt. III, the group have shared yet another new song.
Having previously released the likes of ‘I Know Alone’ and ‘Don’t Wanna’, the group are back with a new number which was shared through a socially distanced performance while at home. “Miss playing for you guys. Here’s a new song ‘gasoline’,” the band said in a caption of the release.
The album, originally planned to be released on April 24th through Columbia, will finally put out the record after occurring delays during the current pandemic. “We’re on day 11 of quarantine, which has given us a lot of time to think,” the band wrote in a post on social media when confirming the delay. “We’ve been talking every day for hours about our upcoming album and how we want to present it to you guys. Due to everything that is going on with COVID-19 and the changing nature of travel policies and quarantines across the world, we’ve decided it best to postpone the release of Women in Music Part III to later this summer.”
They continued: “We can’t wait to reschedule everything we had in mind for you all, and we can’t wait to see all of you on the road when it’s 100 percent safe to do so. In the meantime, we are gonna be dropping some new tunes.”
