Haim have handed a debut rendition of their new song, ‘Summer Girl’, while performing live in Los Angeles.

The band, playing live at the Teragram Ballroom on Thursday night as they warm up to their headline slot at Pitchfork Festival this upcoming weekend, offered a dreamy insight into their new upcoming material.

‘Summer Girl’, a slow building and easy going track, arrives as the first new music from Haim in two years as they look to return to full swing in follow-up to their 2017 album Something to Tell You.

The track, minimalist in comparison to what we’ve become accustomed to with Haim, builds to a crescendo of repeated “I’m a summer girl” lyrics with the oozing of saxophone in the background.

Enjoy some fan shot footage below which includes Danielle Haim offering a shout out to Lou Reed at the very beginning.
