A Grateful Dead Graphic Novel called ‘Grateful Dead Origins’ has been announced

Calling all Deadheads, your favourite band are to be immortalised in a brand new graphic novel. Yes, the Grateful Dead will soon have a beautifully illustrated graphic novel about the band’s early career.

Titled Grateful Dead Origins and written by Chris Miskiewicz with illustrations from Noah Van Sciver, the collector’s item is due out in early 2020 via Z2 Comics. Check out the covers of the standard and deluxe editions below.

The standard edition of the book will come complete with a download featuring the band’s early music as a working companion to the book. The hardcover deluxe edition will feature a ost of interesting pieces including unreleased prints, autographs from the graphic novel’s creators, and early Dead music on vinyl.
