Golden Globes 2026: The full list of nominations as ‘One Battle After Another’ leads pack
The nominations for the Golden Globes 2026 were revealed today at an event held in Los Angeles.
Marlon Wayans and Skye P Marshall were on hosting duties for the nominations ceremony, which kicked off at 13:15 GMT and 5:15 PT.
The nominations were watched closely across Hollywood and around the world as the first major marker of the 2026 awards season. In particular with the film categories, many of the movies nominated will subsequently go on to expect success at the Oscars.
The big frontrunner in the film categories is One Battle After Another, which leads the pack with a massive nine nominations, including for ‘Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy’ and ‘Best Leading Performance by a Male Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy’ for Leonardo DiCaprio.
The other leading nominations included the likes of Sentimental Value with eight, Sinners with seven, and Hamnet with six.
In the TV world, Adolescence picked up five nominations, including two in the same category for ‘Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role on Television’ for Owen Cooper and Ashley Walters.
All the nominees across the film and TV worlds will come together to find out who ultimately wins the coveted Golden Globes at a Hollywood ceremony on January 11th, 2026.
It will be held, for the second year in a row, by comedian Nikki Glaser, who, as well as hosting the show last year, was nominated for the ‘Stand Up Comedy on Television’ award.
