Gene Simmons to allow fans to pay $12,500 to be his personal assistant for a day

Gene Simmons is offering fans a glimpse into his life on the road by offering them the opportunity to become his personal assistant for the day. However, the pleasure will cost $12,500.

The former Kiss frontman and hard rock heavyweight is set to tour the US this spring. During the run of dates, one lucky and wealthy fan at each show will get the chance to be Simmons’ roadie for the day when it kicks off in Anaheim, California, on April 3rd.

According to Simmons’ website, fans can bring along one guest and experience life “on the GS Band Team Crew for the entire day.”

Highlights of this expensive honour include meeting Simmons at his hotel, sharing a meal with him, helping the roadies load the set, being granted backstage access at the venue, and sitting in on soundcheck before being brought out at some point by the rocker during that night’s show.

The package also comes with a special haul of merchandise, including a signed setlist and other concert keepsakes, a VIP backstage laminate, a crew hat or shirt, and a signed Simmons bass guitar used during a Kiss rehearsal.

There is also a smaller package for half the price, which includes meeting Simmons backstage after the show and scoring some of his coveted merchandise.

Additionally, his website promises potential personal assistants, “You will find that Gene Simmons is very down-to-earth, funny, and knowledgeable on almost any subject.”
