Garbage and Skunk Anansie announce 2026 UK co-headline tour

Garbage and Skunk Anansie are officially hitting the road together in the summer of 2026.

The two humongous 1990s alt-rock artists will put on a united front next June. They have announced a string of shows which will begin in Halifax, before heading to Cheshire’s Delamere Forest, over to Margate, Scarborough, and Cardiff Castle. The band will finish things off with a final show at Southampton Summer Sessions.

Announcing the co-headline tour online, Skunk Anansie has written, “We’re super excited to grace the stage with our friends and fellow legends Garbage. This tour is not only a meeting of minds and of music but a chance for us to sit back and be fan kids of one of our favourite bands.”

Garbage added “Surprise, surprise, UK! We’re totally stoked to announce six co-headline shows next June with the phenomenal force that is Skunk Anansie.”

This is great news for fans of Garbage, specifically, as they have just finished playing their last-ever US tour. Frontman Shirley Manson opened up about this in a charged address at one of the shows, whereby she blamed the “unsafe and it’s unacceptable” industry for making it near-impossible to tour.

In a recent review of their 2025 full-length release, Far Out praised the band, writing, “But then there’s the light, and Garbage coast this line with such finesse and charm that it becomes impossible not to look within and ask ourselves whether we’ve given up or if we’ve just entered the beginning of our own personal fight. While we try to figure it out, though, we’ve always got fist-pumping anthems and words of wisdom to push us along.”

Tickets will go on sale on November 14th; pre-sale is available two days before.
