Garbage add London and Dublin dates to 2026 shows
Garbage have added dates in London and Dublin to their run of shows set for summer 2026, it has been revealed.
The band took to their social media on January 27th to announce the new concerts, which comes on top of their already revealed run of dates set to tour the European continent over the course of the coming months.
They will now perform additional shows at the Roundhouse in London on July 14th, as well as a gig in Dublin at the city’s Iveagh Gardens on July 18th.
In addition to this, Garbage have also added a new show in Stockholm, Sweden, taking place on June 3rd while they tour the European region.
It comes after confirmation that the band are saying goodbye to life on the road, after frontwoman Shirley Manson noted, upon the announcement of their show at Edinburgh Castle on July 11th, that it “most likely will be our last headline show in Scotland”.
Despite this, fans in the UK will have many opportunities to catch the four-piece on their upcoming tour, with stops taking place in Catton Hall, Halifax, Delmere, Margate, Scarborough, Cardiff, Southampton, and Belfast, on top of those aforementioned.
Before they hit the home stage, Garbage have already been on the road all over the world for the past number of months, having most recently conquered Australia and New Zealand.
While performing there, Manson came under fire for becoming angry at a fan throwing a beach ball in the crowd during the band’s show in Melbourne.
When controversy mounted over the incident, the frontwoman apologised at their next show in Brisbane, but added: “The only thing that kind of shocks me a little is there’s been more fuss made about me offending beach balls than there has about 20,000 Palestinian kids who are now fucking under the dirt.”
Tickets for the shows in London in Dublin will go on sale from January 30th, with the former going live at 9am local time and the latter at 10am local time.
