Full line-up revealed for Fontaines DC’s Finsbury Park show
Fontaines DC’s huge London show in Finsbury Park on July 5th just got even bigger. Before the latest announcement, it was already on the calendar as one of the biggest musical moments in London this summer, but now, the growing lineup only adds further excitement.
Following on from their Park Stage headline set at Glastonbury in 2024, the success of tracks like ‘Starburster’ and ‘Favourite’ followed by the release of Romance, Fontaines DC saw an undeniably levelling up of their popularity. They’re spearheading a wave of guitar music revival as the UK especially seems to be head over heels in love with rock music again, with modern acts like the Irish troupe to thank.
Their July 5th show at Finsbury Park was a hot ticket to get which was quickly boosted by the additions of Amyl and the Sniffers and Kneecap on the bill. It also marks the biggest headline date of Fontaines’ career so far.
Now, even more names have been added for the sold-out date, making it clear that this day is going to be incredibly memorable. Flying in from America, Blondshell and Been Stellar are bringing the indie tunes with them. Blondshell will be right off the back of releasing her second album, If You Asked For A Picture, while Been Stellar’s one-to-watch status is still strong following their 2024 release, Scream From New York, NY.
Joining Fontaines DC and Kneecap to bring the Emerald Isle to Finsbury Park, Cardinals have also been added to the bill. With music that combines the energy of modern indie leaders like Fontaines and Wunderhorse but with the dark tension of Lou Reed, Cardinals are a must-see live act.
The lineup for their Manchester show has also grown, too, as The Murder Capital joins the bill alongside English Teacher and Kneecap at Wythenshawe Park on August 15th.
