Former Turnstile guitarist Brady Ebert allegedly arrested for attempted second-degree murder

Brady Ebert, the former guitarist with Turnstile, has allegedly been arrested for attempted second-degree murder.

Ebert was a founding member of the Grammy-winning Baltimore band in 2010, continuing to play with them until 2022, when he was fired from the band following the release of Glow On.

Lamb Goat was the first to report that Ebert had been arrested on March 31st for second-degree murder and also claimed there is another charge of first-degree assault.

They allege that the arrest relates to an incident on March 29th, leading to an arrest warrant being issued on March 30th, and Ebert has reportedly been held on bail without bond since his arrest.

He reportedly made his first court appearance on April 1st and is due to have a bail/bond review hearing in Montgomery County on April 2nd.

Data records from the Montgomery County Police Department list a Brady O’Brien Ebert on their daily arrests sheet, who they state is a 33-year-old of Silver Spring, Maryland, who was arrested for attempted second-degree murder on March 31st, 2026.

Per MusixMatch, Brady O’Brien Ebert is the full name listed on the credits for his contribution to Turnstile songs.

Earlier this year, Ebert criticised his former band after they criticised ICE on social media, claiming they only pretend to care about social issues.

He wrote on Instagram, “No one in Turnstile cares at all about ethics or social issues in general, they’re just pandering to their audience.”

Shortly after these comments, he was fired by his new band The S.E.T., who wrote on Instagram, “Brady is no longer a member of The S.E.T. We will not stand by his ridiculous comments and behaviour toward the members of our band and our community. We will continue to put on for Baltimore hardcore and thank everyone for their support.”

Far Out has contacted the Montgomery County Police Department for comment.
