Footage of Stan Lee's heartfelt final message to his fans has been released

Footage of  Stan Lee’s heartfelt final message to his fans has been released.

Lee, who passed away on Monday at the age of 95, left behind a legacy that will live on for decades.

An ambulance was rushed to Lee’s Hollywood Hills home early Monday morning and he was then rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where sadly he passed away. Lee had suffered several illnesses over the last year or so, he had a bout of pneumonia and vision issues, and he recently stopped appearing as a cherished cameo in the Marvel movies.

Stan started Marvel with his partner Jack Kirby in 1961 when hitting the big time with The Fantastic Four. He then went on to create Spider-Man, Black Panther, The Incredible Hulk, X-Men, Iron Man and The Avengers – all of which have been made into huge franchises.

Now, the estate of the Marvel icon has released a clip of Lee’s outpouring of emotion for the fans that he loved. “I love my fans. I cannot tell you how much I love my fans,” Lee says in the video.

“There’s something, if you think about it, that is wonderful about somebody caring about you as I care about them, whom you’ve never met, who may live in another part of the world. But they care, and you have something in common, and occasionally you contact each other. This business of fans, I think is terrific, and I love ’em all.”
