Foo Fighters want to start a petition to get Oasis back together

Dave Grohl and his Foo Fighter bandmates are on a mission to get Oasis back together.

Taking to the stage as part of their headline set at Reading Festival last night, Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins proudly donned the faces of Oasis’ feuding brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher on his kit.

Addressing the picture, Hawkins told the crowd: “One of these days we’ll get Oasis back. One of these days,” while he was swapping positions with Grohl for a rendition of Queen song ‘Under Pressure’.

Grohl, moving on to the drums for the cover song, added: “We’re trying.”

Replying in agreement, Hawkins continued: “We’re trying. Let’s sign a petition. Everyone here, okay?”

Clearly having a bit of fun, Grohl added “How many people wanna see Oasis fucking play a show?” amid the loud cheers.

While joking that the reason Oasis aren’t back together was down to the fact that the Gallagher’s have too much money, Hawkins added “It’ll happen” before launching into their next song.
