Florence + The Machine perform ‘Game of Thrones’ track ‘Jenny of Oldstones’ for first time

Florence + The Machine has performed her Game of Thrones song ‘Jenny of Oldstones’ live for the very first time.

Florence Welch and the band, who debuted during Episode 2 of the hit show’s final season, also dedicated the song to Arya Stark.

The Ramin Djawadi written song is deeply steeped in Celtic tradition and that’s something that still rings true with Florence Welch. “Celtic music has always been in my blood, so I felt like I could do something with it,” Florence said about the song in a statement. “The Magic and ritual in ‘Game of Thrones,’ not to mention the costumes, have always appealed to me.” 

Ahead of the performance, Florence Welch addressed the crowd with her dedication, saying: “I would like to dedicate this song to Arya Stark.”

Longtime friend and Florence + The Machine collaborator Kelsey Lu also joined the band onstage for the track. See fan shot footage, below:
