First trailer revealed for ‘The Bear’ season four

Emmy-winning series The Bear has released the first trailer for its fourth season ahead of its premiere next month.

The nail-biting series will premiere on June 25th on Hulu and Disney+, dropping all ten episodes simultaneously. At the trailer’s beginning, Jeremy Allen White’s character Carmy opens with the words, “People go to restaurants to be taken care of. To relax, to not have to think about anything else for a minute.”

However, the cast are under the pressure of a ticking clock that shows the chefs how much money the restaurant still has to spend. “When that shows zero, this restaurant needs to cease operations,” they are told, which is the opposite of relaxation.

The logline for the show reads: “Season four of The Bear finds Carmen ‘Carmy’ Berzatto (White), Sydney Adamu (Edebiri) and Richard ‘Richie’ Jerimovich (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) pushing forward, determined not only to survive, but also to take The Bear to the next level. With new challenges around every corner, the team must adapt, adjust and overcome.”

It continues: “This season, the pursuit of excellence isn’t just about getting better — it’s about deciding what’s worth holding on to.”

Season three was released on June 24th, 2024, and broke records for Hulu, amassing 5.4 million views in just four days of streaming. The fourth follows almost exactly a year on, and hopes to have the same effect on viewers.

Jamie Lee Curtis, who guest-starred in seasons two and three, also appears in the trailer. Oliver Platt and Molly Gordon reprise their recurring roles, while Abby Elliott, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas and Matty Matheson also star.

At this stage, the future of The Bear remains uncertain beyond season four. As FX chief John Landgraf said to Variety in 2024, the future rests solely in the hands of creator and showrunner Chris Storer, “These decisions are really creative decisions”. He did note that he hopes Storer “has more than one more season of story to tell.”
