FIDLAR are about to release a brand new album for us all to fall down drunk for Almost Free on January 25th via Mom & Pop records. But before we get ready for that party we’ve got the pre-game of a brand new single ‘By Myself’ – our Track of the Day.

The song premiered yesterday on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show as her ‘Hottest Record In The World’ and has been stuck in our head since. Now, not only do we have that track but we’ve also go the video and a special gig announcement. The new track follows singles ‘Can’t You See’ and ‘Too Real’ from the new LP Almost Free

Yes, Zac and the boys will be performing a surprise show at London’s Heaven on January 31st, tickets can be found here and we suggest you best be quick.

The song itself is anthemic homage to cracking a cold beer with the boys, except they haven’t shown up, so infact, you’re actually just having a beer on your own. Lead singer Zac Carpenter explains “I called up all my homies to have a drink with me and no one showed up. What a bunch of kooks.”

To celebrate, and contradict the premise of the track, the decided for the video to crack one open with the boys via that crazy inter-web-wave.
