Father John Misty covers Ryan Adams cover

We knew we loved Father John Misty but his latest creation has only confirmed our love. He has recently satirised the most gut wrenchingly boring of artists Ryan Adams (I’d honestly take Bryan Adams over him) covering the torturous Taylor Swift’s ‘Blank Space’.

Following the announcement of Adams’ latest album length cover of Swift’s 1989 FJM (AKA Josh Tillman), has sought out to cover Ryan Adams covering Taylor Swift in the style of The Velvet Underground.

Confused? Don’t be. You only need to know two things: firstly, covering a pop princess’ song is never very cool. Secondly FJM is. Take a listen for yourself.

He is so cool he has even now tried to pull this effort citing that Lou Reed came to him in a dream and denounced his effort as pandering to the masses.

Father John Misty we are your humble, obedient sons and daughters.
