Fat White Family founding member Saul Adamczewski to leave the band

Fat White Family founding member Saul Adamczewski could be set to leave the band, an insider has told Far Out Magazine.

The Fat Whites, who have struggled to find a permanent replacement for the departed and original bass player Joseph Pancucci – who also played in previous band The Metros with Saul – may be on the look out for a new guitarist after a falling out on tour.

The south London band are currently enduring a long European tour with pop band Wolf Alice as main support – a move that Saul Adamczewski may have been struggling with.

“I wont be doing the rest of the fat whites tour because I cannot stand to listen to Wolf Alice for another night. The Fat Whites sound ok without me so go check them out! you might even get to see a penis!” he wrote on social media.

Although his words are wonderfully to the point, his decision to cut his involvement short on tour hasn’t gone down well with the rest of the band members and what ensued was a public apology to his fellow bandmates.

“Lias Kaci Saoudi. I love you man. I’m a terrible person at times but I’m sorry… I need to change and I will. We can’t throw away everything we have done in the band. just call me. we are and always will be comrades,” he said to Fat Whites’ lead vocalist.

Saul went on to share a link to the bands new single ‘Whitest Boy On The Beach’ alongside the caption “check out my old band” before telling friends he is ‘begging for forgiveness’.

The band is yet to comment on the situation.
