Emmys 2025: The full list of winners

As the 77th annual Primetime Emmy Awards took place on September 14th, the television industry descended upon the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, California, to honour the biggest shows of the last 12 months.

It has been a strong year for TV in general, with Adolescence, Severance, Hacks, and The Studio scooping the most awards. The aforementioned Adolescence, a four-part, one-shot Netflix series, follows the story of a teenage boy accused of murdering a female classmate in the social media age.

Of particular note within the show’s six awards from the night was the prize given to Owen Cooper, the 15-year-old actor who played the character of Jamie Miller. He won the award for ‘Supporting actor in a Limited or Anthology Series’, making him the youngest ever Emmy recipient.

Other big wins of the night came for The Studio, the Seth Rogen comedy series for Apple TV+, which holds a satirical mirror up to the Hollywood landscape. For its part, Rogen took home the award for ‘Directing for a Comedy Series’, beating out strong competition from the likes of The Bear and Hacks in the same category.

However, in an awards ceremony that largely played by the book in terms of its predicted winners, one shock came in the prize given to Jeff Hiller for ‘Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series’, on account of his role in the third series of the HBO series Somebody Somewhere

He beat out a difficult category, including Hollywood heavyweights such as Harrison Ford, Colman Domingo, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach, to take home the award.
