Today, Glastonbury Festival Head Honcho used her social media to announce that the magnificent Lana Del Rey will be performing at this year’s Glastonbury Festival.
Eavis used her Twitter and Instagram profiles to share the news that Del Rey will be at this year’s event, taking her place on the famous Pyramid stage.
Emily Eavis wrote: “Am very happy to tell you that the wonderful Lana Del Rey will be playing on the Pyramid stage this year.”
It has not yet been confirmed which day Del Rey will feature on but adds another high profile name to the gigantic list of acts scheduled to appear for the 50th anniversary celebrations.

Eavis has been in charge of creating the line-up for some time at Glastonbury and has presided over the festival’s biggest successful shift in culture.
It’s a shift which has seen many ‘commercial’ acts find their way on to the famous stage and be widely love, Stormzy’s game-changing headline set last year was proof enough.
Now, Del Rey will have her shot at winning over the Pyramid stage.
