Donald Trump’s Ukraine denial has been turned into a punk rock Ramones song

Donald Trump’s bizarre handwritten notes have gone viral after they were turned into a punk rock Ramones-style song.

Earlier this week, while delivering his testimony during his impeachment hearing, Trump was tasked with answering Gordon D. Sondland, the United States ambassador to the European Union, who asked: “I know that members of this committee have frequently framed these complicated issues in the form of a simple question: Was there a quid pro quo?”.

Trump, forced to address claims that he attempted to force Ukraine to investigate his political rivals in return for US aid, arrived to deliver his response while clutching his handwritten notes which, comically, became visible due to the President scrawling them in large black marker pen.

Trump wrote, in capitals: “I WANT NOTHING. I WANT NOTHING. I WANT NO QUID PRO QUO.”

He added: “TELL ZELLINSKY TO DO THE RIGHT THING. THIS IS THE FINAL WORD FROM THE PRES OF THE U.S.”

The internet, of course, did its thing:
