Doechii drops out of All Points East and Forwards Festival just days before

Doechii has dropped out of All Points East and Forwards Festival with little notice. The Grammy-winning rapper, known for her recent hit ‘Anxiety’, is currently on tour but has cancelled several performances this week.

The TDE artist was scheduled to perform at London’s Victoria Park on August 23rd. Raye is headlining the event alongside Tyla, Jade, Nao, Cat Burns, and others.

“Unfortunately, Doechii will no longer be able to perform at All Points East on Saturday, August 23rd,” APE wrote in a statement. “We’re very sorry to announce that Doechii will no longer be performing at her upcoming shows.

“She is an incredible artist, and, like all of her fans, we were hugely excited to see her on stage. All Points East has an amazing lineup including Raye, Tyla, Jade, Jyoty, Nao and many more, and it’s set to be a truly unforgettable day.”

In response to a fan asking for a replacement in the comments, organisers said, “We are working very hard to see who might be able to perform in the slot vacated by Doechii at short notice, given the complex logistics required to advance a suitable show at a similar scale. We will update via our general comms as soon as we have any news.”

Doechii was also set to play Bristol’s Forwards Festival (August 24th) and Paris’ Rock en Seine (August 21st), but they have also been cancelled.

Forwards released a statement following the cancellation of her set. “We are very sad to announce that Doechii will not be performing at her upcoming shows,” they wrote. “She is an incredible artist, and we were as excited as you were to bring her to our hometown of Bristol.

“We are so proud of this year’s Sunday lineup, with three amazing female headliners in Jorja Smith, The Last Dinner Party and Olivia Dean gracing our stage, as well as a plethora of other amazing musical talent across the day.”
