David Lynch narrates new short film ‘Curtain’s Up’
David Lynch and his son Austin Lynch have collaborated with designer Stella McCartney on a new short filmed called Curtain’s Up.
The trio are working alongside a Los Angeles-based creative studio called Tete-a-Tete, an establishment created by Austin and fellow artist Case Simmons.
Austin, recruiting his father, sees David Lynch he narrate a relationship between filmmaking and meditation. Not short of star names, the film includes the likes of Stella McCartney, BØRNS, Lola Kirke, Moonlight’s Ashton Sanders, electronic artist SKY H1, and others, according to a press release.
“When you dive within, the self is there and true happiness is there. There’s a pure, huge, unbounded ocean of it. It’s bliss-physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual happiness that starts growing from within.”
